So I have come to the conclusion……
That I am no longer and probably won’t ever be again a dedicated hardcore raider. It just stresses me out too much. Makes me a person who I don’t like being. So instead of trying to be something I am not, I am going to play they way I want to play. Do what I want so that I have fun. It may be the combination of the what is also happening at work, and with the guild. The guild is more than likely on it’s way down. It has had a long slow painful death IMHO. They keep getting the extremely inexperienced players without any gear and wonder why we can’t down Gruul and move on. Oh Well, I am not going to worry about it anymore. I will just follow my wife as a social player, maybe go on a raid if I am in the mood and they need me, but otherwise just do what I want.

I am curious about what part of raiding you found stressful and how long you’ve been raiding. I’m going to raids almost every night and love them. I’ve been at it a couple months though.
I have been raiding since 2006 with some breaks every now and then. And there has been multiple things that have happened that made it stressful.
I’m a short timer compared to you for sure. I was just curious as to the pitfalls I might encounter with raiding that you appear to have found.
Mostly it relates to guild drama that we’ve gone through. Friendships can be hard and when they get tough it’s very stressful, especially when you’re a core member of a guild’s raiding force.
